I’ve danced for Liz Gerring Dance Company ever since I graduated from Tisch in 2011. Like her work, Liz is demanding and fearless. This latest piece truly tested the limits of my dancing. Have you ever been able to smell/taste your body being so overheated and exhausted that it feels like you’re cooking yourself? A little gross I guess but that feeling has really stuck with me from this performance.
